Summary of lispvan June 2008 meeting - Using PLT Scheme for Game Development

Friday, June 20, 2008

At the June 2008 meeting of lispvan, Dean Giberson walked us through how PLT Scheme can make game development easier and more productive. During his presentation (in which he used a basic games engine as his application), he showed how a REPL-based, exploratory style of development can make it easier to try out new ideas and make incremental changes rapidly. A movie of Dean's presentation is available (in 2 parts as there was a Windows crash during the presentation):

Using PLT Scheme for Game Development

Thanks to Dean for an interesting presentation and a great demo of how Lisp can be used in game development.
