Summary of lispvan July 2007 meeting: Domain Modeling for Planning

Robert Goldman gave a presentation on
Domain Modeling for Planning at our July
lispvan meeting. Robert was here for the
AAAI-07 conference and gave lispvan a condensed version of the tutorial
presentation that he did at the conference. In it, he looked at the
different types of challenges that various modeling problems pose for
planners. I made a screencapture/audio movie of the presentation and it is
available online (about 159MB).
There were 11 attendees at the meeting (including 3 new
attendees). This was
despite the fact that I picked an evening with both beautiful weather and
a fireworks display in English Bay! Thanks again to Robert for presenting to our group!
