Summary of lispvan December meeting - Google SoC
Thursday, December 28, 2006
We had 8 people turn out for our
December lispvan meeting - a pretty
good turnout considering both the holiday traffic (it took me almost 2
hours to get to the meeting venue!!!) and all of the other things that people do this
time of year.
Howard Yeh gave an interesting summary of the pros and cons of using
Lisp for his Google SoC project along with some humourous accounts of
the adventures, love life, and trials & tribulations of a university student. As usual, I captured the presentation
and it is
available online (about 64MB).
