Summary of lispvan October meeting - The PLT Scheme Inference Collection

Monday, November 6, 2006

I've been traveling the past week (with limited access to email and web), so haven't had the opportunity to post. Now that I'm back, I'm snowed under with things to do; however, I do want to comment on our October lispvan meeting.

As usual, Doug Williams gave a stellar presentation, presenting the 3rd part of his trilogy: the PLT Scheme Inference Collection. His package provides a rule-based inference engine that supports both data-driven (forward chaining) and goal-directed (backward chaining) inferencing.
