New UofT Student

Just back from Toronto where I got my eldest daughter settled into
her residence at the
University of Toronto. I must admit that it was a lot easier going off
to university when I was young (I must have enjoyed the "starting uni"
experience as I did it 5 times over the course of 10 years during
which I did a bunch of other things!) then it is being a parent and sending
your first child off to uni. But, UofT is a
terrific university, Toronto is an interesting city, and UofT is
right smack in the middle of downtown Toronto, so I can see that she
will be enjoying her stay there.
So, it only took a few days to get her moved in. Now, I wonder how long it takes before I get
used to the idea of her having grown up and left home.
