Genetic Programming gets Popular
Wednesday, May 3, 2006
Or, should I say "Popular (Science) gets Genetic Programming". ;-)
Popular Science magazine has just published an article on John
Koza, the author of
4 books on Genetic Programming and the person whose name is most
commonly associated with Genetic Programming. I wrote previously about
Genetic Programming in Common Lisp and GP was one
of my first interests when I was initially learning CL. The Popular Science
article isn't technical, it's more of a background on how John Koza
got involved with Genetic Programming, but I was interested to see it
in a non-scholarly publication.
