Hello from Vancouver

Well, I'm up in Vancouver now! It was a 1,500 mile (or, should I be
saying 2,400 kilometers now ;-) ) trip. I drove one 24 foot truck with
most of our stuff, my wife drove one of our cars, I hired another guy
to drive another truck with more of our stuff and to tow the other
car. Geez, it takes a move before you realize how much "stuff" you
accumulate after living 10 years in one house! And, I now have a much better appreciation for what truck drivers have to
put up with on a daily basis!
I've been busy unpacking and getting things sorted out, but we have
also had some time to have a look around Vancouver and appreciate what
a lovely city this is. Also,
Drew invited us around for a block party
and a few beers yesterday, so we are starting to feel more at home
now.
For the most part, if you happen to encounter an old link to one of my weblog entries,
you can convert it to the new link by just doing a
s#home.comcast.net/~bc19191#bc.tech.coop# on the old link. I've uploaded
everything that was on the old site, so you should be able to find
everything that was available previously at this new location. I've
also corrected all of the links in my weblog entries so
that they point to the new locations. However, if
you happen to encounter a bad link, please drop me an email and I'll
fix it.
