Moving to Vancouver
Thursday, May 5, 2005
In about two weeks, I will be moving up to Vancouver, Canada. It's a
move that I've been planning for a while now and I'm really excited
about it. I'll be doing work with the
tech coop in Vancouver - it'll be a mixture of Lisp and non-Lisp
work and I'm quite looking forward to trying out some different
things. And, I'm also looking forward to working with Drew, who has
been doing some interesting things
with Lisp at the
tech coop.
One problem related to this move, though, is that the current web site for this blog will
be going away. This is a bit of a drag as I know that there are a lot
of pages (well, at least one or two ;-) ) out there that link back to
some of my weblog posts. My apologies for this. I'll re-build all of the old
postings on my new site (so the material will still be available), but
this won't fix all of those stale links. Hopefully, I'll be able to convince Zach
to run a "slimer"
over the
Planet Lisp archives so that at least they are updated with the new
links once I get the new site up and running. Hey Zach, would you like some
free beers when you come out to Vancouver? ;-)
