DDJ E-Zine: Lisp Special Issue
Friday, January 7, 2005
I enjoy reading the free AI Expert Newsletter that is produced each month by DDJ magazine - it always has interesting topics in it. This month's edition was emailed with an advertisement for the new Dr. Dobb's Journal E-Zine: "The Best of AI Expert". So far, there have been two compilation editions of the E-Zine published. Volume 1 has a range of different AI topics that may or may not interest readers of my weblog; however, Volume 2 is a "Lisp Special Issue" that will definitely interest readers. Here are the articles that are in Volume 2:
- "The Common Lisp Object System" by Richard P. Gabriel
- "Lisp Macros for Backtracking" by H. John Maxwell and Mark S. Riggle
- "The Power of Lisp for C Programmers" by Michael E. Rothrock
- "Lisp Flexibility: Using Functions as Data" by Paul Graham
- "Lisp: The Quick and the Dead" by Nick Bourbaki
- "A Lisp Query Compiler" by Paul Graham
- "An Initialization Protocol" by Nick Bourbaki
