Change is the only constant

There is an old saying: "Change is the only constant". Well, today it was announced that the company I work for is being acquired. This will be the second time in 18 months that I've been on the receiving side of an acquisition. I've been on both sides of acquisitions during my career and it's definitely more comfortable being on the "acquirer" side rather than the "acquiree" side. Oh well, this too will pass; but, in the meantime, there's Johnny Walker.
