More Practical Common Lisp chapters online
Tuesday, November 23, 2004
Last month I mentioned that Peter Seibel had released the
Web Programming with AllegroServe chapter of his book
Practical Common Lisp. At the time, I said that the
chapter looks good but, unfortunately, some of the examples relied
on an HTML-generating library which was in a not-yet-released
chapter. Well, it looks like Peter has the first drafts of
"An HTML Generation Library, The Interpreter" and
"An HTML Generation Library, The Compiler" now online. That will
give me some reading material for the flight back to Boulder!
Actually, it looks like his book is getting pretty close (there are
only 3 chapters that haven't been posted online now) to
completion! So, although it won't be ready in time to be
anyone's "stocking stuffer" this xmas, the hard copy version of the book probably isn't too far
off. I've got
my copy pre-ordered with Amazon already!
