(error "BUSH")

I rarely break my self-imposed focus on topics related
to Lisp in this weblog. However, today I will make an
exception.
On November 2nd, the US will vote for a president in the general
election. I am voting for
John Kerry, the Democratic candidate for president. I'm not voting
for him because I feel that the Democratic party is so much better
than the Republican party (I am registered as an independent with no
political party affiliation). I am voting for him because I don't want
President Bush in office for another four years. I believe that
President Bush has done more to hurt America during the last four years
than any president in my lifetime. Fundamental things like justice,
liberty, rights guaranteed by the US Constitution, and our place in
the family of nations have all been eroded during his tenure in
office. In addition, his specific policies on Iraq, the environment, the economy,
employment, education, health care, and women's rights have all made the US a
worse place to live today than it was 4 years ago. My vote is a vote
to remove President Bush from office.
Hopefully, this madness will start to come to an end on November 2nd.
